IS FAP Turbo A Real Moneymaker?

By Sean Chandler

Let me guess. You have probably heard all over about FAP Turbo, but you still are uncertain of what it actually does. Well, let me tell you. It is basically a Forex EA (Expert Advisor). This means that the software trades on your behalf. You dont have to get involved. The only thing that you are going to have to get is the Metatrader platform. Dont worry its free. You can find it with almost any broker.

The software was created by very respected traders who have been involved in the forex market for many years now. They have taken the time with the help of very expensive trading algorithms to create one of the most profitable systems youll find anywhere online.

You may find that other automated systems which supposedly claim to offer higher returns than FAP Turbo, but you wont find any that have better returns during live testing, not back testing. Live testing is what counts.

On another note, FAP Turbo makes some very large claims, one which is that you can double your money every month. Im not going to say that it cant or wont ever happen, but you have to be as realistic as possible.

You have to know something. The forex market is more volatile than hardly any other time in history. Price swings are at record highs and lows. So, essentially while the rewards are higher than ever, so are the risks.

However, FAP Turbo actually just handles EUR/CHF currency pair, which is regarded as one of the most stable currency pairs around.

Also, the creator of the course wants to make sure that you grasp all the intracies of the EA, so he made a lot of videos, so you wont have any doubts about what to do.

So even if you are getting 100% return on your money every month, but you should be able to get reliable income for many years to come. - 23208

IRS Eases Investment Rules for 529 College Savings Plans

By Doeren Mayhew

Saving for college is always tough and is even more so during the current economic downturn. One of the most popular educational savings plans are so called "529 plans." The IRS has announced that participants in 529 plans will now be able to change their investments more often in 2009 than in past years. The IRS will now allow a change in investment strategy twice in 2009. This is good news for 529 plan participants, especially those who may otherwise be locked into an investment mix that has turned out to be more speculative than initially contemplated.

Tax-Free Distribution A 529 plan is qualified tuition program. By contributing to a 529 plan, taxpayers contribute to an account established for paying a student's educational expenses. Eligible educational expenses may include the costs of tuition, books, and fees at eligible institutions, such as colleges, vocational schools, and other ostsecondary institutions.

Contributions to 529 plans are not tax-deductible. However, earnings are tax-free, and distributions used to pay the beneficiary's qualified education xpenses are tax-free.

Be aware that A 529 plan should not be confused with a Coverdell Educational Savings Account (Coverdell ESA). A Coverdell ESA is also a savings account for education expenses that offers tax-free distributions. The funds saved in a Coverdell ESA can be used for elementary and secondary school expenses as well as college costs.

Investment Decision For the most part, participants in 529 plans must select only from among broadbased investment strategies designed exclusively by the program. The IRS has also traditionally permitted a change in investment strategy only once a year.

In response to the economic slowdown and the turmoil in the financial markets, the IRS will allow investments in a 529 plan to be changed during 2009 on a more frequent basis. A 529 plan will not violate the investment restriction if it permits a change in the investment strategy twice in calendar year 2009, as well as upon a change in the designated beneficiary of the account. - 23208

By Ahmad Hassam

Only a few years ago, most of the people had never heard of trading the foreign exchange markets. Even now, many may not have heard of it. Most people, new to trading begin learning on their own through a trial and error process of wins and losses. However, this is probably not the best or the right approach to getting good forex training. These seven forex training secrets, you should always keep in your mind when looking for good forex training:

1) Follow the rules of a simple trading approach. Keep it simple.

2) No system and no methodology are responsible for your interpretation of the markets while trading. Learn to accept responsibility for the personal decisions and actions you take while trading.

3) Before moving into the world of live trading, make sure, you trade a demo account successfully. Consider first trading a mini account. It comes with a very small amount of margin to ease you into the world of live trading once you are ready to trade. Achieve success on a mini trading account. Only then you should consider moving to the standard account. Risk and profits are higher on a standard account.

4) Establish a live account with a forex broker known for integrity. Avoid brokers that like to play games such as holding trades in slow and fast moving markets in order to gain advantage at your expense. Always plan a trade with more than a scalpers mentality of making 1-5 pips per trade. This way a broker has ample time to cover a submitted trade or pass it onto a clearing house. Choice of the right forex broker will determine whether you succeed in trading or not.

5) Even when you have experience of trading other markets, invest in personal education when trading forex. The forex is a totally different industry. It has much more volatility than other markets. Make sure the mentoring person is walking the talk when selecting a mentor to assist you in developing the skills necessary to survive trading the forex and make profit.

6) The greatest distance to overcome in each trade is between the ears. Attitude is everything in the markets. Learn self discipline as a forex trader. Only disciplined traders succeed in the long run.

What Is A Forex PIP?

By Bart Icles

If you plan to go into Forex trading and learn Forex basics, one of the first Forex terms you will be introduced to will be the Forex Pip. As you get more involved in Forex currency trading, you will continually encounter it, so you will essentially have to know and understand this important term, and many others like it, in order to learn how to trade Forex successfully.

PIP is the acronym for Percentage In Point, or Price Interest Point, which is used to measure profits and losses in Forex Trading. This is comparable to the term used in the stock market referred as a "point". Basically, the PIP is the unit of measurement for the smallest value (price) change of a currency.

The PIP serves as an easy alternative for measuring the rise of fall foreign exchange currency values in the form of a percentage number. Forex spreads, or the difference between the bid and ask price (buy and sell quote), is measured in PIP's, and is the major cost of Foreign currency trading. This amount is also used to pay the broker facilitating the trade. A lower spread means a lower the payment for the broker, and the trader gets to keep more profits.

The PIP is used in currency trading since the values in foreign exchange is not based on a universal currency, and its monetary value changes accordingly to the currencies involved with each individual trade. The dollar (USD), even though considered to be the most widely traded currency, is not and cannot be involved in all currency trades. For example, if there is trading of two common currency pairs such as the EUR/GBP, the profit and loss margins cannot be measured against the USD, simply because it does not make sense. Thus, Forex trade utilizes the PIP to simplify matters.

Most of the major Forex currencies are marked or quoted to the fourth decimal point, except the Japanese Yen. As an example, let's assume you are quoted a bid for the EUR/USD quoted at 1.0090 and the ask price is 1.0095, the spread is 0.0005 or 5 PIP's. In percentage terms, a PIP is 0.01% of a lot. Take for example the lot size of $100,000, 1 PIP is then worth $10. This is the value of PIP's when using the USD is used as the quote currency.

Trading in one Forex pair, such as the EUR/USD is advisable if you're a beginner. As you get more adept doing this, you'll get a clearer picture of how the PIP measures your gain or losses. - 23208
